knapdale (high-grADE Gold - Antimony & Base metals)

Project Highlights

  • Substantial historical work programs have been undertaken on the Knapdale Project. Previous field work, geochemistry and geophysical surveys identified multiple gold and base metals targets. Subsequent drilling programs have intersected several quartz veins containing high-grade and antimony along with Cu-Pb-Zn sulphides

  • Mapping and shallow diamond drilling programs in 2017 and 2021 resulted in the discovery of high-grade orogenic gold veins with an interpreted strike length of c.4km close to the historic Stronchullin gold mine

  • Numerous high-grade intersections include:

                   - 41.8 g/t Au + 262g/t Ag + 0.26% Sb over 0.55m

                   - 13.3 g/t Au + 32 g/t Ag + 0.14% Sb over 1.05m

                   - 19.2 g/t Au + 1.2 g/t Ag over 1.0m from 88.2m

                   - 12.2 g/t Au + 20 g/t Ag over 1.0m from 56.9m

                   - 5.0 g/t Au + 2.8 g/t Ag over 3.6m from 41.8m

Significant Upside Potential

  • The highest ranked geochemical gold and base metal anomalies remain untested

  • Numerous gold hits from drilling with high-grade gold values up to  41.8 g/t Au

  • Average intersection encountered to date is 1.2m with at 8.1 g/t Au  and 17 g/t Ag (applying a 2.0g/t Au cut-off)

  • Knapdale exhibits certain geological analogies with the >6.0Moz Curraghinalt orogenic gold deposit in Northern Ireland, highlighting significant upside

  • High grades of stibnite (Antimony) identified in drilling (0.26%) and rock chip sampling (>1.0%)

  • Antimony recognised by UK Department of Industry as a critical mineral

Historical Work and Future Activities

  • Historical expenditure of over C$2.5 million including 15 diamond drill holes, 12 of which intersected high-grade gold mineralisation at Knapdale

  • Surface mapping and geochemistry has identified quartz veining along 4km of strike

  • Stratiform Cu-Co-Ag-Zn from potential Besshi-style VMS also identified at Srondoire and Gossan Burn

  • Future work programs to include drilling of the gold system, and geophysical surveying of the base metals discoveries with the aim of delineating inaugural resource estimates
