Argyll Metals Limited is a UK-based exploration and development company established in 2022. The company was founded in response to a growing opportunity to develop both gold and critical metal projects within the UK. The founders recognized that the increasing drive for national self-sufficiency in raw materials would necessitate a revival of the UK's mining industry—particularly in the critical metals sector, where demand is projected to grow significantly.
With this vision, they set their sights on the historically rich resources of Argyll.
Since its inception, Argyll Metals has built strong relationships with supportive landowners, successfully navigating many of the early challenges typically faced by greenfield projects. The company has completed two funding rounds, which have supported initial exploration efforts, including the first-ever drilling program at Loch Fyne. Future exploration programs are planned to further define resources and reduce investment risk across each project.
